Puglia is a region in the southern part of Italy however the Bocconcini cheese balls originated from Naples. They are made from fresh from free range cows milk in South Africa by hand in the old Italian traditional way. Bocconcini means “little bites” in Italian, which looks like small Mozzarella cheese balls. This is best served on a cheese platter with crackers topped with fresh basil as a creamy snack, or even on a pizza.
